With a wealth of experience in Gastrointestinal Surgery, Dr. Patta Radhakrishna is a master of his craft. He is known for his expertise in both open and laparoscopic methods, as well as his ability to perform ultra-short stay laparoscopic gall bladder surgery, which allows patients to be discharged within just 6 hours of their surgery. Dr. Patta Radhakrishna's journey in the field of Gastrointestinal Surgery began under the tutelage of Prof. N. Rangabashyam in Chennai, and later he honed his skills by working in AIIMS under the guidance of Prof. Samiran Nundy. He has been a consultant in Gastrointestinal Surgery in various reputed hospitals such as SVIMS, Tirupati, NIMS, Hyderabad, Dhaka, SriLanka and Apollo Hospitals Chennai for 14 years before joining SIMS Hospital. He has also pioneered one of the largest series of daycare laparoscopic surgeries in India, which has achieved excellent results.
