Dr. Ramadevi is an American Board Certified Neurologist and Sleep Medicine Specialist, as well as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Neurology, Northwestern University, Chicago, where she has played key leadership roles including: Director of Neurology Medical Student Education, Director of Neurology Basic Science Course, Director of Sleep Fellowship Program, and Director of the Insomnia Program. Dr. Ramadevi’s research articles and reviews have appeared in major publications and she has also authored several book chapters. Her clinical area of focus includes all sleep disorders: sleep apnea, insomnia, circadian rhythm sleep disorders, restless legs, parasomnias, daytime sleepiness and narcolepsy.
After completing MBBS from Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool, AP in 1989, she pursued MD in Neurology from University of Illinois, Chicago, IL in 1997 followed by Fellowship in EEG & Sleep – Loyola University Maywood, IL in 1999 and Fellowship in Sleep Medicine - Northwestern University, Chicago, IL in 2001.
