Dr Rajah V Koppala

Dr. Rajah V Koppala is a board certified vascular surgeon with over 29 years of experience in vascular interventional radiology. He has an MBBS degree from Osmania Medical College Hyderabad, Telangana, India.  Subsequently, he undertook his MD in Radiology at Sri Ramachandra Medical College in Chennai, TamilNadu, which is accredited for its modern day medical curriculum and its specific training programs. To top it up, Dr Koppala took time to acquire the most sought after qualification in the international horizon, namely the FRCR (Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists) from the United Kingdom making him more famous as a radiologist internationally. He encompasses from his academic background a strong foundation of both diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology in his practice as a vascular surgeon.

Dr Koppala is an Interventional Radiologist and Radiologic competent in the use of advanced imaging techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of these vascular diseases. His specialties focus on endovascular interventions for diseases like peripheral artery diseases, varicose vein disorders, venous insufficiency and others. Dr. Koppala has received an additional training which is the Fellowship in Vascular Interventional Radiology (FVIR), a course that has equipped him for the challenging vascular treatments. Such expertise in these non-invasive methods enable him to present his patients with satisfactory treatments with short recovery periods and adverse effects.
