Currently, he serves as a Prof. Emeritus in Radiation Oncology and Senior Consultant - Radiation Oncology at HCG Group of Hospitals, where he is widely respected for his expertise and patient-centered approach.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ramesh has been at the forefront of advanced radiation therapy techniques, including highly conformal radiation therapy techniques like IGRT, IMRT, SRS & SBRT. He is particularly interested in the application of brachytherapy administration for the cancers of the Head and Neck, Breast and Cervix.
Dr. Ramesh is a certified CyberKnife specialist, which means he has received advanced training from a prestigious institution in the US. Dr. Ramesh is also well-known for introducing hyperthermia treatment, which involves the use of heat to kill cancer cells, along with external beam radiation therapy.
