An internationally acclaimed orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Prasad Gourineni’s expertise lies in paediatric orthopaedic problems, spine deformities, hip joint preservation, sports medicine and trauma. After completing his MBBS from Andhra Medical College, he went on to do his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery from Mangalore University, India in 1989 and from Northwestern University, Chicago in 1997. He also has a degree from American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics & Scoliosis from Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, Dallas 1998. Until now he has done 200 femoral neck osteotomies and 1000+ hip arthroscopies. He is also the founder of the Hip Preservation Society.
