Dr. Pichit Naripthaphan, M.D

Dr. Pichit Naripthaphan is one of Thailand's most experienced ophthalmologists, specializing in refractive surgery, cataract surgery, corneal disorders, and advanced laser vision correction. With more than 29 years of clinical experience, he currently serves as a Full-time Refractive Surgery Specialist at TRSC International Eye and Vision Center, Bangkok, while also practicing as an Anterior Segment Specialist Surgeon at Bumrungrad International Hospital and Senior Consultant at Rajavithi Hospital.

After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Dr. Pichit completed his ophthalmology residency at Rajavithi Hospital before pursuing advanced subspecialty training in cornea and refractive surgery. He further enhanced his expertise through an international research fellowship at the Estelle Doheny Eye Foundation, USC Medical School, USA, and advanced LASIK training in the United States.

Dr. Pichit has played a major role in advancing refractive surgery in Thailand. He served as the Chief of the Refractive Surgeries and Contact Lens Unit and Chief of the LASIK Centre at Rajavithi Hospital for nearly two decades. Today, he is widely recognized for his expertise in SMILE Pro, LASIK, FemtoLASIK, PRK, EVO ICL, and cataract surgery.

He is also an active leader in ophthalmology, serving as President of the Cataract and Refractive Surgery Club of Thailand, Advisor to the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of Thailand, and Congress Co-Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Association of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (APACRS).
