He specialises in IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and brachytherapy for a wide range of cancers, including gynaecological cancers, head & neck malignancies, brain tumours, paediatric tumours, and the management of breast and prostate cancers. In addition, Dr. Belliappa is also proficient in CyberKnife treatment, which is regularly employed in the treatment of benign and malignant tumours found in the brain, kidney, lungs, head & neck region, liver, pancreas, prostate, and spinal cord. Dr. Belliappa has undergone extensive training and certification in the field of radiation oncology. He received his brachytherapy training from Long Beach Memorial Cancer Hospital in California, where he honed his skills in the use of radioactive implants to deliver high doses of radiation directly to cancer cells.
