Dr. Raman Shankarlal Marda is an experienced and dedicated Paediatrician and Neonatologist with over 10 years of expertise in managing critically ill neonates and providing comprehensive paediatric care. He is highly skilled in the management of premature infants, extremely low birth weight neonates, and the evaluation and treatment of congenital disorders.
Dr. Marda's extensive training includes his MBBS from Govt. Medical College in Latur, followed by a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from B.J. Wadia Hospital for Children's in Mumbai (2014–2016), and DNB in Paediatrics from Hyderabad. He further honed his expertise through a fellowship in Neonatology and PGPN (Boston), specialising in advanced neonatal care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Marda has been deeply involved in critical care procedures including intubation, PICC line placements, exchange transfusion, Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), hypothermic cooling for newborns, and UAC/UVC catheterization. He also focuses on development assessment and therapy, ensuring the holistic growth of neonates.
Previously, Dr. Marda has served as Senior Registrar in NICU & PICU at Holy Spirit Hospital, Andheri, a renowned tertiary care DNB teaching institute, and at Hope Children's Hospital, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in managing neonatal and paediatric emergencies.
As a highly qualified professional, Dr. Marda remains committed to improving neonatal care and is actively involved in training future specialists. His goal is to provide the highest standard of care to newborns and children, ensuring optimal outcomes for every patient.
