Dr. Ravichander is a renowned surgical oncologist in south India with an experience of over 2 decades. He has acquired a huge amount of experience in traditional and laparoscopic cancer surgeries, having successfully conducted more than 15,000 cancer surgeries of various complexities. He is one of the few well trained once surgeons in India who can perform laparoscopic GI onco surgeries, and thoracoscopic surgeries for cancers of esophagus & lung. He is trained in oncoplastic surgery for breast cancer, having done more than 5,000 breast cancer surgeries. He was the first person to start complete cyto-reductive surgery and hyperthermic-intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) for advanced peritoneal malignancies in the twin states of AP & Telangana.
